VCP National Jamboree

Once every four years 4000 scouts and guides gather  on a camping site in Germany to hold the national jamboree. We invite scouts and guides who are members of  WAGGGS or WOSM to join the jamboree together with a German partner group. If you do not have a partner  group, we will help you to find one. In 2014, the campsite is located directly in the midst of the biosphere  reserve »Swabian Alb« near Münsingen 50 km south of  Stuttgart.

Full Steam – The slogan of the national jamboree

During the jamboree we want to take up the spirit of  the 19th century and experience technical progress and inventions of the era of the industrial revolution. We  want to sense the unlimited euphoria of progress, the dawn of a new era and at the same time address the  social implications of the industrialization.

International Service Team (IST)

We invite all scouts and guides older than 18 to get  involved in the jamboree as part of the International  Service Team (IST). You can come as individual, with a friend or in a group. As member of the IST you will work together with the German camp staff in an international team to make the camp an unforgettable experience for all participants. Of course you will also have the opportunity to enjoy the jamboree yourself and participate in various activities when you are off duty.

Organizer

»Verband Christlicher Pfadfinderinnen und Pfadfinder« (VCP) is the protestant part of the German national scout organizations RDP/RdP, which are members of  WOSM and WAGGGS.
